Books by Zecharia Sitchin

Twelfth Planet

. If we trust Sitchen's translation abilities, we must be prepared for the imminent return of an alien race who created us some 3,600 years ago. The 12th Planet is perhaps the best written of Sitchin's Earth Chronicles series; full of example after example of ancient Sumerian passages, astronomical observations, archaeological finds, and technological coincidences supporting his theories. The price we pay for all this evidence is a bit of a dry read at times, but the ideas Sitchin proposes are more than scintillating enough to make up for the overtly scholastic tone of his text.

The stairway to Heaven

Since earliest times, humanity has pondered the incomprehensible mysteries of the universe, life...and the afterlife. Was there somewhere on Earth where, after death, mortal man could join the immortal Gods? Where was this place? By whom was it established? And does it still exist today? After years of painstaking research-combining recent archaeological discoveries with ancient texts and artifacts-noted scholar Zecharia Sitchin has identified the legendary Land of the Gods...and provided astounding new revelations about the Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, and other mysterious monuments whose true meanings and purposes have been lost for eons.

The Cosmic Code

If this is the first book of Sitchin's that you will read, you will find there is enough introductory and review material to bring you up to speed on the tale as told thus far. For the veteran Sitchin reader there is a wealth of new and provocative material to amaze and stimulate further investigation. Those of us who have been enthralled by the "Bible Code" research and revelations will find intelligent and useful insights into it's precursor codes in the cunieform writing system. Kabbalists will find that they too are indebted to the Annunaki for much of the wisdom and understanding contained within their field of study.

The Wars of Gods and MenI

I've now read ALL of Sitchin's Earth Chronicles series, starting with 12th Planet, and have decided that this is the best of the lot! Especially if you're into the mysteries of the Giza pyramids. Not that I would recommend anyone START with it without reading the others preceeding it in the series as they would be at a great loss for background. To do that would leave one with many doubts on where he is coming from and how he has derived a lot of things assumed in this part. I feel that this one is the high-point of the set, giving readers progressing through the series, something to look forward to if they are already bored with the first books in the series.

Genisis Revisited

The title is an reply to Mr. Sitchin's claim that we have caught up with this knowledge. He closed the book with that claim. We have rediscovered atomic energy, space travel, biogenetics etc., knowledge of the Gods, which was in some occasions even presented and explained to mortal people (to Adam, Elmo, Lamech..) but was mostly exclusive proper of the Gods, but was detailed and written by the scribes and is also preserved in the Bible, although it is only a representation of its original form. The book should be read after you have finished at least first three volumes of the Earth Chroncles by Sitchin, because it was written later and there are many references to them, especially to the first book 12th Planet in terms of astronomical knowledge of Sumerians about our Solar system.

The Lost Realms

This was the first of Sitchen's books that I read, and I immediately bought the rest of The Earth Chronicles and read them all. While I do not agree with all of Sitchen's interpretations of the historical information presented, I now know that my North American Euro-centric education about world history is mostly garbage. We are taught in grammer and secondary school that if the white Europeans didn't do something or discover something, it just didn't happen. Well, we are wrong.

When Time Began

They came to Earth thousands of years ago to usher in mankind's first New Age of scientific growth and spiritual enlightenment. Under the guidance of these ancient visitors from the heavens, human civilization flourished-as revolutionary advances in art, science, and thought swept through the inhabited world. And they left behind magnificent monuments-baffling monoliths and awesome, towering structures that stand to this day as testaments to their greatness.

Devine Encounters

Why do you assume that Nibiru has to orbit "the sun?" What if Nibiru has its own internal heat source? What if Nibiru has its own sun? The truth is that Planet Earth is probably unique in the universe; therefore, can you consider that Nibiru is also unique in its own way and that just because it is different from our Earth, i.e., its 3,600 year orbit, doesn't mean the planet doesn't exist or that it doesn't support lifeforms. Mr. Sitchin asks that we not limit our thinking; if we remove the limits from our thinking processes, we will realize that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, not just US!
