| The mask of the Mayan king Pacal, also known as Quetzalcoatl or the Feathered Snake, was found in his tomb in the temple of Inscription in Palenque, Mexico. It took three years of digging before the tomb could be uncovered. The tomb's location is directly beneath the temple. It's accessable by a stairway located under a stone of the temple floor. The stairway was filled up with debris. | ![]() |
